Hang out your shingle - the new one-pager website!
I’ll admit it, I’m online quite a bit. After all, making websites is my business! However, I’m still surprised when I find a small business that doesn’t have a website. Let’s face it, most people don’t use the phone book anymore. We use the internet to find businesses, look at their products and shop too.
According to CIRA (the Canadian Internet Registration Authority), 73% of Canadians spend at least 3-4 hours online per day. “Websites matter to Canadians. In 2019, 67% say they’re more likely to do business with a company that has a website and almost half (49%) say they’re more inclined to donate to a not-for-profit organization with an online presence.”
I created the One-Pager Website for the small business who wants the benefits of an online presence, but doesn’t want a lot of content. The example site for the One-Pager features a local bakery. I think it would work well for many small businesses, restaurants, or cafes. It would also be a great website for events (I love working with non-profit organizations). It has up to 6 sections of information that you can use to show off what your business does best – portfolios, galleries, menus, stories and more.

Single scrollable website - great for mobile viewing!
Even the smallest business needs a website. Think of your website as a 24 hour signboard for your business.
